My name is Elizabeth Kahn, and I have been a school librarian in the New Orleans area for over 20 years. I have worked with elementary students, but I currently work in a 6th-12th grade setting at Patrick Taylor Academy in Jefferson, LA. I love working with teens, and I love young adult literature. Every day is different, and the students keep my hopping.

When Mardi Gras rolls around, it is hard not to take to the streets and join the crowds. This year we had some lousy weather leading up to the big day, but Fat Tuesday turned out grand. I had a marvelous time waving to my subjects as I strolled down St. Charles Avenue.
