I’m Michelle Rubino, Branch and Instruction Librarian at Greenville Technical College in SC.  I started working in academic libraries as an undergrad at Smith where I (unwittingly) informed the Library Director, “I’m sorry Sir, if you don’t have your library card with you, you can’t check out that book.”  Foot-in-mouth disease is one I continue to battle.  I am actively involved in SCLA - check out @sclanews - and enjoy every chance I get to advocate for libraries.

In my spare time you can find me surrounded by plants, with a book and my Pug, Peter Winston, or on Twitter: @Ossuslibrarian.
