My name is Heather. I’m a Senior Librarian in charge of Youth Services in a public library in California. I like to think of myself as a Diva Librarian; I have an undergraduate degree in Vocal Performance and well, I am fond of dramatic clothing and 4-inch platform shoes. I know, I know, not super practical inLlibraryland! Oh well.
Working in Youth Services feeds my love of books, my gregarious nature and my desire to perform in front of an audience (storytime, outreach to schools, etc.).
I believe I have the best job ever and am a lucky son-0f-a-gun to do what I do! ;-D
