My name is Tammie, and I thoroughly enjoy my job as Assistant Librarian in a small public library in Ontario, Canada. Here you see me dressed up for Halloween as Zoey, a character from one of my favourite video games: Left4Dead. I’m a geek who loves technology and gaming, but I also love getting back to basics by practicing traditional wilderness living skills. I also enjoy reading (shocking, I know), kickboxing, carving, fencing, knife throwing, yoga, and renovating my home. I’m equally comfortable in high heels or work boots. And I have a lot of fun challenging the librarian stereotype. This is what a Librarian looks like!
