My name is Heidi, and I’m the Digital Centre manager at Nazarbayev University in Astana, Kazakhstan.  I handle all of the e-books and digital collections, as well as manage all of the digitization we undertake for faculty.  Because we’re a Western university in Central Asia, we’ve been facing a lot of issues in updating the system and building the library collection from scratch (the library only started two years ago). I got my MLIS from Wayne State University in Detroit.
